Hello guys I recently bought GeForce gtx 970. Everything was working fine and I enjoyed some high end graphics, BUT, for some reason the monitor started rebooting on its own for like 1-2 seconds. Trying to figure out what was wrong I noticed the Hdmi cable doesn't fit 100% inside the port and there is a portion left naked which I'm pretty sure is touching the pc metallic case. Could that be the cause?

Solution
This is working as designed; all the metal outsides of the cables and cases are supposed to be electrically connected to reduce interference.

Check the power cord is fully plugged into the monitor.

What does the monitor display while it's "rebooting"?
