I've installed the Realted HD Audio drivers for my motherboard (Asus P8Z77-V LX) but i'm receiving extremely low, pretty much no sound. The only way i can hear the sound is if i turn my speaker up to full and put my ear very closely to the speaker.

I've tried all the audio drivers available for my motherboard on the ASUS website.

Realtek High Definition Audio is my default device.

I've tried resetting my bios back to default.

I've tried reinstalling windows 7 operating system.

The fault began when i plugged in my hdmi to dvi cable, since then i have swapped it back to dvi to dvi cable, reinstalled the windows operating system, tried different drivers and restored my bios settings but having no luck.

The front panel doesn't work either, it detects when i plug the device into the port but doesn't play any sound.

Would anybody know how to fix this fault or could give me suggestions to help fix it?
