Best graphics card for 300w Power Supply

I have a dell Inspiron 570, and It has a AMD Athlon II X2 250 3.0 GHz CPU. I wanted to install a graphics card for better performance. First off, keep in mind that I already have a HD6450 installed, I do moderate gaming, and that I'm a AMD fan. Thanks!

  1. Best would be GTX 750TI. Unfortunately. :)
  2. What power supply , some 300w are actually less than labeled.
  3. Any AMD cards?
  4. If you want some good AMD card, you then need to upgrade your PSU, which has PCI-e cables. GTX 750ti don't need PCI-e connector
  5. I'm not at my computer yet, but I remember its a Hipro 300w Power Supply.

It doesn't need to be that good, just better then the HD6450, also, I don't have too much money.
  7. asus just announced a gtx 950 that will only need the 75w from the mobo. will beat out the 750ti easily once it actually hits stores. give it a week and see what they end up priced at.

these would run on 300w if it is a 300w psu
  8. I would not try a GTX950 with that power supply and you would probably require a BIOS update to get it to run if their one available.

55 Watt TDP and with that processor would be about all you need.
  9. these are power limited to 75w out of the box. no 6 pin power connector. a normal 950 would be out of the question but one that is limited to the pcie slot for power won't hurt 300w any more than the 750ti would.

  11. it's not much of an upgrade and won't offer much in gaming performance. keep an eye on this list http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gpu-hierarchy,4388.html to see where are card fits compared to yours.
