Gaming Computer Freezing Constantly

Hello! I previously opened a topic discussing some minor issues with my computer having to boot twice every day. I first thought it was a power supply issue, so I bought a new power supply.

These are the following specifications:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/287cdC

I'm not sure what the problem is anymore and I'm starting to get worried. I dropped around 1.4k on this computer including monitor and other parts. Any help is greatly appreciated.

This is what I know so far;

I installed a new GTX 980 about 4 months ago. New power supply was installed at the same time.
The booting more than once occurred when I started to unplug the power supply every night I went to sleep. The computer indicated that the cooling and everything else seems to be fine.

Basically the double booting is when I wake up every morning after not using the computer more than 9-10 hours or so, I turn on the computer and it shows a black screen the entire time, and then the computer just turns off. When I boot it the second time it turns on regular and works fine.

This crashing on the computer started to occur about 4 days ago. It has never happened before. The freezing occurs randomly. It gives me different colored screens and if I'm playing music, the music gets stuck as if it was also frozen. Sometimes it's gray, sometimes it's green, sometimes it's blue. I have to turn off the computer completely. I'm writing this topic on the same computer hoping it doesn't crash in the middle of it.

Also note that I have this computer on constantly, as in I have sleep mode off. Hope that isn't a bad thing.
I already tried removing the battery out of the motherboard. I removed every component within my computer and that didn't help. I already cleaned this computer so there isn't any dust bunnies or anything like that

I'd like to add that I referred to an old topic here on tomshardware indicating it's a GeForce Driver issue. I uninstalled everything from GeForce and installed everything and it hasn't crashed yet. I'll keep everyone updated if the crash continues. I still however am curious for any input!

Thank you so much!

Try switching to an older GeForce driver. Load up your event log. Click on the system tab and the click filter and make it only show errors. Take a look through. See if you can see any notable error around the time of the crashes. Ignore any errors about networking.

My computer literally just crashed as I edited my main post

I spoke too soon! :fou:

I am desperate to fix this issue because I am trying to write an essay and I can't if it keeps crashing. This is the only computer I have available to me.
It looks like everytime it crashes it's always gray

I think this may be the solution!! My computer hasn't crashed yet, It's been ever since I read your message which was yesterday. I hope I don't speak too soon. I am currently using drivers from 2015 of December and now that I'm starting to remember, the crashes started after I updated my graphics card.
