Can I swap Intel Q8300 on my eVGA MB with an Intel Q8200 from my Asus IPIBL-LB-Benicia-GL8E to obtain VTX on Bencia?

Hi guys

This is related to an older post of mine. I have two computers with the following specs
Backup server- MB: MB EVGA nForece 730i with Intel Q8300 running Linux Ubuntu x64
Desktop -MB: IPIBL-LB-BENCIA running Intel Q8200

When I run VMware Workstation on my Linux server I get an error message (for specific VMs that require this) that VTx/EPT is not supported

If I run the lscpu command I get
Architecture: x86_64
CPU op-mode(s): 32-bit, 64-bit
Byte Order: Little Endian
CPU(s): 4
On-line CPU(s) list: 0-3
Thread(s) per core: 1
Core(s) per socket: 4
Socket(s): 1
NUMA node(s): 1
Vendor ID: GenuineIntel
CPU family: 6
Model: 23
Stepping: 10
CPU MHz: 2499.328
BogoMIPS: 4998.65
Virtualization: VT-x
L1d cache: 32K
L1i cache: 32K
L2 cache: 2048K

So mu first question is: what exactly is it that stops VTx from working? Virtualization is enabled in BIOS
The second question: If I move the Q8300 processor to m Desktop do I get VTx support?
