so, google is no help since it is interpreting things backwards. i have a mobo+chassis that has front panel USB3 ports, but the mobo's manufacturer doesn't appear to provide USB3 drivers for the Z77 chipset for Vista while they do provide for Win7.
aren't Vista and Win7 essentially the same? can i use a Win7 USB3 driver for the Z77 board while running Vista? maybe from a different source, like a different mobo maker? mine's the ASRock Z77 Extreme 3.
