Hello,

I figure it's time to get one, since I live in a windy area with the occasional interruption in power.

I've never owned a UPS in my life. I don't much know what makes a good one, what to look for in features, and so forth. My PC is on about half the time, and I use it for writing and gaming. If the power goes out, I'd like a comfortable buffer to finish the paragraph or wrap up the game before safely shutting down.

All recommendations appreciated, thanks.

A good Back-Up UPS can keep the PC running during power outage, look for trusted brands in your area,APC UPS are available at almost every place, how big of a UPS depends upon your System Specs, if you could post your PC specs including make/model of PSU,it'd be helpful for us too.

I'm in the US, specifically Washington State. As for budget, I'd like to stay under $125, but I also don't want to cheap out...so I'd consider stretching a bit if necessary.

From the research I've done, the CyberPower Intelligent LCD line seems good, but again I'm basing this on no real knowledge.

Oh, and specs:
Core i5
8 gigs of DDR3
Gigabyte Z97X mobo
2047MB GTX Titan
500GB SSD
500GB HDD
Blu-Ray drive
EVGA SuperNOVA 650 GS 80 Plus Gold PSU
