One of the reason I bought it was the extremely quick boot times, though I am experiencing extremely long boot.
From power to the windows 10 logo is about 45 seconds,
From windows logo to actual desktop varies from 10 to 20 seconds.
It took me about 3 minutes to install windows 10. Where the longest time spent was updating windows. I could reboot the pc 3 times and would have a fresh instalation of windows instead. Lol.
I have the latest Samsung nvme driver, the BIOS is selected to fast boot, so unsure why it's taking so long.
Also when powered on the asus logo appears then disappears and then reappears for some strange reason.
I've seen youtube videos it takes seconds from power to desktop. With what I belive Is a slower system than mines.
Pc spec, nothing is overclocked
I7 5960x
16gb g.skill ddr4 3000mhz c14
Asus x99 pro
Asus 980
Samsung 950 pro 256gb
No other HDD or ssd, just water cooler is connected to a sata port.
