Ok, so I'm building a gaming computer to use for obviously gaming and game/app development (I use UE4 for game development) and I tried to see what components would be useful for my endeavour and have come up with these:

Processor: Intel Core i7 4790k Devil's Canyon 4.0GHZ skt1150
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z97X-Gaming 3 skt 1150
CPU Cooler: Coolermaster Hyper TX3
Memory: Kingston 16GB HyperX Beast 2400MHZ (2x8GB)
Hard Drive: Toshiba 1TB DT01ACA 7200rpm 3.5'
Optical Drive: LG DVDRW GH24NS95 BLK SATA 24x
Graphics Card: Gigabyte 4GB GTX970 GAMING G1
Sound Card: MS-Tech 5.1 PCI Card
Power Supply: Nox Urano TX 850W PFC Activo 140mm

Is this architecture good enough for my case and if not can you please give me some suggestions on what to change?

Thanks

I didn't choose skylake purely because of the increase in price of both the device and the other components as a result of the change, for the psu how much wattage is required for a build similar to this and what cpu coolers would suffice this model/skylake.

But doesn't the graphics card require 550W alone how will the first PSU suffice (sorry if this is a super amateur question but I am still a beginner)

Aa ok then. I was looking into this PSU: Cougar STX 80PLUS 650W as I am trying to buy one locally and with the longest warranty so as to obtain the best after-sale service should a fault occur. Is it better than the one I picked before and if so should I still opt to buy one of the others you mentioned and have it shipped out to me?
