Hi, I have a Benq XL2730Z Monitor and I can't get freesync to work at 144hz on resolution 2560 x 1440.

I could not get my monitor to go to 144hz on high resolution 2560 x 1440, the 144hz option did not show up in Screen Resolution Advanced Settings until I setted up a custom resolution, http://imgur.com/O75nDkN but now I can't get freesync to work on 2560 x 1440 at 144hz. I used a custom resolution " as seen here http://imgur.com/Ns7tZSQ" to get it to go up to 144hz on 2560 x 1440 resolution, but I think I may of done something wrong, because on the Radeon settings it shows the the freesync refresh rate is only at 40 to 60hz here is a pic http://imgur.com/evG3Tar . I would like to know what I can do to fix this and also what are some good custom resolution settings for 2560 x 1440 at 144hz?

Here are some pics of the settings.

Hello my friend, I had the same issue, simple solution, in Settings for Catalyst, you have to "uncheck" the CPU Scaling button to the "OFF" position then restart Catalyst. That should enable your "VSR" to enabled

Hope that helps,

Chris.

As you can see in this pic http://imgur.com/evG3Tar I already have it off, did you check out the pics I included :) and if so do you mean something else? :) Also I don't want to enable VSR, I want to enable freesync at 144hz on 2560 x 1440 resolution.
