I've owned a GTX 780 for a number of years now and i have several questions about upgrading a little. Below I've pasted a link to the exact model that i purchased along with several questions, note that i do have a power supply a 1000 watt power supply that can probably handle them both.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121769
-Should i even look to SLI two 780s to increase performance or would it be more cost efficient to upgrade to a better card.
-how can i find a compatible card(new or used) for this card, they seem to be out of stock everywhere.(*it'd be helpful to explain a how one can tell if two different 780's of different manufacturers, brands, etc are compatible)

Solution
You'd have to look on EBay more than likely to find compatible cards. Might not find your exact model now unless you really look or pay. Other brands usually work fine with SLI. Usually with SLI both cards will run at the speed of the slowest card, the amount of ram that is the lowest.

You can look for 780 SLI benchmarks on google to see if it's worth it.
