Hello everyone!

One of my friend came to me asking me to look at his computer because it wasn't working. After looking and testing a few thing, I saw that some pin were bent on the socket... I tried to put them back and noticed that one pin was missing. The pc boot and everything seems fine.

The missing pin is AV5 (BALL#) and SA_DQSP4 (signal name). I would like to know what was the function of that missing pin... Thank you for your help!

Solution
According the intel forum, click the " 4th gen core family desktop datasheet vol 1" page 100. The SA_DQSP4 relates to RAM.

Yeah, I looked at the layout already, I wanted something more specific about what it was going to affect on the ram... But I found nothing..

But what's funny is that I've tried all channels and made some stress test.. No error everything works fine and the temps never went to more than 80°C with the stock cooler and a case in which the ventilation isn't that good.

Well this case is "solved" for the moment XD
