After buying new ram my system locked up and preformed in a weird way. So i did a fresh install of windows 7 and took the latest stable nvidia display drivers to run into the bug where when turning SLI on it triggers a BSOD.

Ive read other form posts about this but reinstalling windows doesnt help because this is a fresh install as done stated in thoes forum posts.

I hope there are more sollutions to this issue.

My PC Specs are:
ASROCK Z77 Xtreme 4
Intel I5 3570K

If anny more info needs to be provided Ask me.

Thanks in advance.

So...

SLI worked before the new memory or not?

If the problem started immediately after swapping the system memory then logic dictates the reason is bad memory (or timing issues). As said, run memtest86 (for a full pass on default settings) www.memtest86.com

If you have the OLD memory then put that in and test if things are stable.

Tested both cards and they are fine.
Also tested ram individualy and mixed (I labled the sets)
They worked fine.
I downloaded old nvidia drivers and the problem seems to be gone now. I dont know for how long but so far so good. Having other windows related issues but thoes are things for a different topic.

Thanks for the advice

A lot of times JUST re-installing the GPU drivers can fix things like this. I bet if you even went back to the current drivers you would find it no longer crashing. But if your games run fine you can just wait for the next release.

Yhea its fixed now im just gona leave it at these drivers because the latest drivers caused me to reinstall in the first place. Just gona sit back and wait for nvidia to release a new package
