newly built PC turns on for 10mins then shuts down!!!HELP!!

Hi guys,
I just built a PC(specs below)and as i turn it on and try to install windows through a bootable USB,it shows the windows logo for 5mins and then shuts down...Please help guys...i really need help with this!

Specs:
CPU: Intel i7 3770 lga1155
CPU COOLER: intel lga775 stock heatsink (as the mobo has support for lga775 n lga1155 fans)
MOTHERBOARD: Asrock H61M-VG4
RAM: PQI 8gb dual channel
GRAPHICS CARD: Asus Radeon r7 240
HDD: 500gb WD Green+500gb Seagate Barracuda
PSU: Eton 500 W power supply.
CASE: Aerocool Aero500 Window

Eton 500 W power supply , I'm sure the poor quality power supply isn't helping.

I agree with Blackbird, the no-name power supply. Eaton seems to make more UPSs than anything, very few computer PSUs and no information on them, so probably junk.

Several things.
1. As previously mentioned the dodgy PSU, definitely an area you don't want to skimp on.
2. Could be the GPU, try using integrated graphics on boot to test this.
3. HDD. Given its a Seagate, could well be that its dead, even though its only the first bootup xD Its happened before...

Can rule out 3 because a hard drive would not cause a computer to actually shut down. It can cause a freeze, but not an actual shut down.

Sounds like it could be an overheating problem is the heatsink and fan securely attached to the CPU? It shouldn't wiggle but be firmly on there. Are all four post in all the way? Perhaps a good after market cooler would be the way to go.

No i dont its a PSU issue because i've been using Eton PSUs for some time now n they are really good.Its quite reputable here in saudi arabia!

A quick update guys...i checked the cpu temp through the UEFI and it says 99.5 Celsius! !!The fan seems to be installed properly! ! Could this be an issue?

Yes that could be an issue. I bet you have the pushpins in the wrong direction on the cooler.

You know the pushpins on the Intel stock cooler? The arrows point in the direction to loosen and remove the cooler. Turning them opposite the arrows locks the cooler in place.

Now that temps have been posted, its def a CPU cooler issue xD
Probably would have been good to put that in the OP.
Oh well!
Did you put TIM (Thermal paste) on the CPU cooler?
Provided the fan itself is mounted correctly that's the only thing I can think of....

@Chugalug_ thermal paste came pre-applied with the stock heatsink.
