I've got Q8300 Quad socket 775 CPU. At the moment I'm using random no-name cooling that came with motherboard, it features 70mm fan @3500RPM (makes hella lot of noise), and based on my tests it cools down my CPU to around 35c idle and around 48c in stress test (lasted over 3 hours).
I'm looking for a cooler of maximum height of 155mm, that will be as quiet as possible. Temperatures are second thing, my first priority is silence under 100% CPU load (I'm doing a lot of 3D rendering, and heavy video rendering while working near the pc).
I'm looking into Cryorig H7 and SilentiumPC Spartan Pro. I think Cryorig is a solid cooler, but maybe there are other alternatives?
