So today I'll explain my day and what happened

So yesterday at around 12:00 AM or PM whichever it was night I had to close my computer since my parents were gonna come into my room and see me on a computer and since it was a school night I would be screwed. So I closed my computer shut it down but it wasn't fast enough even though its an SSD so I went to my extension cord and shut it off there like I do every night but this time my computer was open.

The next day [Today] at 7:00 I needed to print a paper so I open it and print it and it works perfectly it wasn't slow or anything it booted up normally. I shut it off and since I wasn't in a rush I didn't touch it and let it do what it had to do. I turned off the extension when I was done I believe.

At 3:00 [Today] I come back and at 3:30 I go to my computer and see its not powering on I have a Rosewill Galaxy 2 so it has a blue light when its on. It just wouldn't turn on. I turned on and off the PSU thing on the back it was on the 1 from the beginning then I plugged it out and in still nothing. I T just wouldn't turn on at this point I gave up thinking it just needs a break so I turn off my extension and fell asleep for an hour or two.

AT 8:00 [Time when I'm writing this] I took out my PC from underneath my computer table and put it on the ground in my living room where the lighting was perfect since out light stick whatever they are, are on top not on the side. That's just a side note xD. I took it out and looked at it no problems no smoke no bad smells or anything. Now my family doesn't touch my computer, they do all their stuff on their Ipad etc. so it wasn't my family I know that. So my dad he gets a metal thingy like the thing that they use in manicures and stuff and touches it by the area where the power connectors are and the computer comes to life. Great and all except this usually last for a few seconds and turns off. I know I could've done the paper clip method but didn't want anything out of the motherboard. So I press the power button the top to turn it off I hold it down for a good 30 seconds nothing its just stays on and has the horrible noise. So I go to the back of the PSU and turn it off scared a component will start smoking. I really don't know whats the problem and I'm scared that my motherboard is broken as it was a 120$ motherboard my specs will be below. I believe this to be a Mobo problem since nothing else seems to be broken and the PSU is clearly working

CPU: AMD FX 6300 3.5 GHZ Hexa Core
Motherboard: AsRock Extreme 3 990FX
Ram: G Skill Ripjaw series 2133 MHZ
GPU: 2 GB GDDR5 1.1 GHZ Gigabyte
Case: Rosewill Galaxy 0-2
Storage:
HDD 120GB Segate
SSD 120GB Intel
Both are sata.
PSU: Diablotek 400W <-- don't roast me please it was a spare. It worked fine for 1 year.

Yup this sounds like another prime example of why you don't use budget power supplies.
Sorry kid! I think you'll need to buy another power supply and pray your other components aren't damaged.
Perhaps you should turn your PC off and get to bed before midnight in future! You can use it again tomorrow, it's for the best, trust me.

But the PC did turn on so doesn't that mean the PSU is still working?

IF this is somehow a PSU problem how could a PSU kill a mobo when the computer is off? Also can someone recommend me a PSU that's cheap no need for modular or anything but can last for some time xD is a logisys PSU good?

It could have killed them when killed the power by not dealing with the power cut properly, believe me, PSUs can destroy your rig in any way imaginable.
Firstly, ditch that word cheap, that should be the second factor in your choice unless you want to risk killing your whole system again (here's hoping your components survived this time), look for a power supply made my XFX, Corsair (not the CX builder series) or Seasonic power supply as they are among the best.
XFX PSUs are made by Seasonic who are renowned for being THE best PSU manufacturer.
I'd say considering you're worrying about price, get whichever XFX power supply is available to you as they tend to offer the best reliability for your money.
Since you didn't say what kind of graphics card you have I can't recommend an exact wattage, but any 450W+ product would satisfy the needs of your rig.
Any questions just let me know

Absolutely not, i have had a PSU continue "working" long enough to kill the board and several sets of RAM, aswell as another PSU which one day revealed a large safety hazard as the unit did not even supply power to it's own fan but made a loud ticking noise, after weeks of my system being unstable which i was trying to diagnose.

Ok so i can get a Better psu but how do I know my PSU didnt take my motherboard with it? Because like i said my motherboard turned on with the powe switch thingy the unsafe way but wouldnt turn off.

Oh, you can't be sure. You won't know until you hook up the new PSU, but you likely need a new PSU anyway. The EVGA 750 B2 is a great bargain through tomorrow and a very nice PSU.

MY dad is more looking forward to being a Mobo issue. Can I get anything to prove that I need a new PSU than investment in a Motherboard. Like the PSU is not smoking its no sparking also like I said it turned on once but it never shut off.

You would have to get hold of a known good psu to try out. Perhaps a friend has an extra you could borrow?

I do have an extra PSU not a good one but a working one. But its lower than 400W like 300W so if I take out my GPU and run it hopefully everything works out!

By good, I meant one that is working correctly. It doesn't need to be platinum rated! Watch this starting at 7 minutes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3ACedfiQPmE
