Hi, I bought new GPU and installed it without issues.
While I was installing it I only unplugged cpu to replace the thermal paste and I wasnt touching the ram.
After playing a bit on my PC i noticed my system says I only have 2 GB of RAM. I have 2x2GB RAM sticks plugged in and they worked fine before installation of new gpu.
I tried unplugging them and plugging them back in but it still said 2 GB.

My new GPU is MSI Radeon R9 280x and old GPU was AMD Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X.

Not sure if new GPU can affect ram so I could use some help, ty.

What mobo, CPU and model of the DRAM, also what CPU cooler? If a third party cooler, you may have overtightened in a corner or side and effectively have 'lost' a channel. Also what slots are the sticks in (if a 4 slot mobo and in 1-3 or 2-4 from the CPU, try them in 1-2 or 3-4)
