70% fans at gtx980ti while gaming, safe ?

Since they are throttling without custom bios on 60c, I found that If I use custom fan profile with 70% at 60c I don't exceed that temp limit like ever. So I'm wondering is it safe to have 70% fans for even couple hours per day ?

I don't have water cooling and I clocked card on 1500/8000 even though it looks like that I can get more. Just making sure that fans will be okay.

You really need to spend some time and learn about how Turbo Boost works. Your card was designed to operate normally at 84c. You're trying to force an unintended and arbitrary temperature on a card that naturally runs warmer within its intended design.

If you really don't want to exceed 70c, then just set the Temp Limit at 70c. That will make sense once you learn more about Turbo Boost.

I hate when even some really low demanding game yet it makes 200-300fps and 99% gpu usage make my gpu to reach 70c when 70% fans stop that temp. Without 70% I can only assume that it would go higher. While games like CSGO on 300fps keep gpu at ~50c with 50% fans. Those small things..

I was serious in my reply, feel free to remove my post but it's not helpful as I said. Turbo Boost is not what I want when I overclock card on higher clocks with air cooler especially that I lose 10mhz after 60c. I just made statement on ended discussion from couple weeks ago and my question after some "helpful" tip would be what is more healthy, higher RPM or higher temps.

But nevermind.
