NZXT Kraken x61 vs Other CPU Coolers

I have an Intel 6700k in my gaming system and I have overclocked it as high as it goes without messing with the voltages, I was wondering if the NZXT Kraken x61 is a suitable CPU cooler for my purposes and if not, what other closed liquid CPU coolers are good for overclocking and are there any air CPU coolers that match my needs?

The highest end all in ones will get you a few degrees lower than a good air cooler but at the expense of everything else. VRMs and southbridge chips also need cooling and all in ones don't do it. Many more parts to fail in a closed loop as well that you never have to worry about with an air cooler. I've got my 6700K at 4.6Ghz with 1.35v and the only way I can get a single core over 70C is to run prime 95 small FFTs and Intel Burn Test at the same time. Those 2 programs at the same time will get one core to 71C with all the other cores staying in the upper 60s. I have a Phanteks PH TC14PE.

The Kraken is a great cooler. I have always used Corsair closed loop liquid coolers and had great experiences personally. I'm using the h110i GT right now with a 280mm radiator and its kinda loud (I have it on push pull) I heard that the Kraken is quieter, so It may be a good investment. That being said the H110i GT works great, just a bit noisy.

If you are looking for a cheaper option, than this air cooler is great http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4UF1H68938&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-PCPartPicker,%20LLC-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID= Otherwise, the x61 is a very capable cooler.

The Kraken x61 is one of the best coolers on the market. Push/Pull or Pull/Pull config it will work well.
Others I would suggest is the Corsair H00i (Using this, still a extremely good cooler) or the Corsair H110i GTX.

Any of these three will provide you with best prebuilt cooling options.
