Hey would this Gaming PC be a good starter?

Hey everyone, Ive been looking for a Mid Range Gaming PC around 500-550$ I really don't want to build one but I was wondering if this PC is good for Gaming http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0111MTSZ8/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2V74S52OCBPLX&coliid=I27VM862SOV2GU (I am planning on upgrading RAM/Graphics Card/Power Supply in the future) Thanks in advance whomever answers to this question!

Not really to be honest. The GPU is very very weak, it's not suited for gaming.

Very tricky to find a pre-built in that price range suitable for gaming. Usually start around $800, which is about the price difference between a basic computer and one with a mid-range gaming GPU.

That Lenovo is just over $500, but not a really good gaming system, and certainly not that upgradeable. The Dell will take faster GPUs in the future as Nvidia will likely offer up a low-power Pascal equivalent to the GTX950/GTX960 that would fit in there.

Might poke around on Newegg, occasionally they will try to get rid of pre-builts from iBuyPower that no one is taking.

Cheapest I could go on CyberPowerPC's website was $650, but that was with the $10 upgrade to a R7 360.
Cheapest I could go on Ibuypower's website was $590, but that trades a discreet card for the A10-7860k APU.

You might need a bit more money, depending on what you want to play, but the APU is the best bet for the dollars.

This would have been a good gaming computer about 6 years ago

Pros: Nice looking case, Very affordable, meets pc requirements of low end gaming requirements (CS:GO, league of legends...etc), a lot of storage and its pre built

Cons: weak CPU, weak graphics card

Comments: at LEAST get an i5 CPU there affordable and price efficient. And at least get a graphics card comparable to a NVidia gtx 700 series. If your between the ages of 10-15 this is a great first computer for surfing the web and some low end gaming. I would advise saving at least $800-$1000 to really get what you'd expect to be a "gaming pc" or "mid range gaming pc"

I have a $1000 lenovo laptop that I bought 4 years ago and can currently run 75% of games at 60 fps. unfortunately the 25% of games run your computer to death and are the most fun to play. it has 2 gtx 750m SLI and an i7 cpu

Best to learn to build it yourself really. Then you can focus on getting a GPU that will suit your needs now for a future upgrade later.
