I just upgraded my pcs motherboard and cpu and i lost all audio for linux windows is fine but i check sound and there is no output one there

Solution

You haven't explained this very well. You have audio working, however you need a better solution?

If you explain this a bit better I'll boot into Linux and try HDMI. I also need to know:

*What HDMI output are you using?

(I will try using my GTX680 graphics card. Thus, the audio depends on the NVidia drivers as it uses the graphics card as the audio source. I would have to change the audio source in the linux setup as it might be trying to use my motherboard Realtek solution)
1) If Windows is fine then BIOS audio is enabled (I assume there's no sound card, just the same onboard audio?)

2) Probably an audio software/driver issue for Linux.

Try going into the audio section and see if it's incorrectly selecting the audio source (on digital, HDMI etc instead of Realtek/analog).
