So i went to sleep and left my pc on cause cba to turn it off that night. I wake up in the morning to find my pc turned off. So since im lazy af i have to use the directboot key on the motherboard everytime i wanna start my pc. So i proceed to press the button and my pc comes on for a couple of seconds and launches me in the bios the suddenly turns off and im like hmm why did it turm off yeh?
I keep trying to turn it on for a couple of minutes but it doesnt work. So im like well since i know for sure that ram,gpu and motherboard are all working since i about a month ago upgraded my system it must be the cpu. I take it out and notice that its EXTREMELY HOT so i fucking drop it on the floor. (This was 1 hour later btw) and im like ohh shit. I pick it up and i bendt some pins well shit i try bending them back and it worked the cpu fits and i start the pc boom im in the bios the cpu temperature goes from 50 degrees celsius to 80 degrees within seconds before it shuts down (and yes i applied new thermal paste) well i then proceed to breadbuild it or whatver its called and take all the components out of the case and start it up then. Boom nah nothing still shuts off after 5 secs. Now i do get a short beep and i have a m5a99x pro 2m9 motherboard.
1 beep = no VGA, fast boot disabled or no keyboard. But what is the problem is it the cpu? I tried the cpu on my old motherboard and it still didnt work. Cause this also happend once in my old build and when i upgraded some of the parts again it worked fine but no 2 months later the same thing is happening. Thanks for help
