FPS drops from 80 to 20 after 30 minutes, no recovery. Unless I restart the game

Hi guys as the title says. I don't know whats wrong. I opened up my case and dusted the whole thing. I even downloaded Afterburner (GTX 960) and Core Temp (AMD 6300). My temps are fine. No over heating. 29C GTX on idle, 36C AMD on idel. My friend however did build my computer and he did a sloppy job on the thermal paste...the fan kept moving and spreading the thermal paste. Also he might have did something wrong with the wiring....help me guys I don't know what to do...its a brand new computer. I play Cabal Online and I would get 80-120fps when I first play it, now after 30 minutes it drops to 20-30fps until I restart the game again. Its fine.


My rig as follows:

AMD FX 6300
GTX 960 4g gaming OC edition
MSI 970 SLI Krait Edition AM3 + AMD 970
8GB RAM
Windows 7

I decided to open up my computer and clean the thermal paste. I reapplied it and booted it up. Same problem...after 1 hour fps dropped to 30. I checked the wires, everything looks good. Could it be that I am not getting the right voltage from the power supply? Im using a Corsair 650w. I don't know what else I can do. I even monitored the gpu and cpu temps during gameplay. Everything is running fine. GPU temp is 38 on high settings for my game. CPU temp is low as well 42c.
