Bottleneck and part compatibility questions

Hello! I have a few (specifically 2) questions about my, what is to be first, pc build. I have spent alot of time researching the parts, what is important and I have tried to make as best of a decision on what parts as possible. To be clear I haven't ordered anything yet, the PC build will come down to arround €1000, which I am currently spot on with with my parts list. Yet as more and more time passes and more additional research I do I become more uncertain about potential bottlenecks and if it will all be compatible...

For that reason I have added a parts list here, to give you guys the best information to work with as possible while, hopefully, helping me

CPU: Intel core i5-4590
GPU: MSI gtx 960
Motherboard: ASUS H97M-E
RAM: Crucial Ballistix Sport 2x8gb ddr3
PSU: Cooler Master G550M
Network card: Intel Network card

Then there is also obviously also a large enough case, a 1TB Hdd and a 250gb samsung SSD on top of a couple of additional fans for sufficient cooling. Now one of the things I am worried about in particular is if the graphics card and the network card, which is required becouse I do not have a lan connection at my desk, will both fit into my motherboard and I couldnt quite figure it out

So thank you all in advance, SJ

there are 2 lists thatr gathered information from independent hardware websites those 2 are:

http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/id-2547993/psu-tier-list.html

https://linustechtips.com/main/topic/406160-psu-ranking-and-tiers/

we only recommand tier 1 and 2 PSUS (and tier 3 on linus hsi site hes a bit picky) because theyre amde for gaming and u can rely on the quality that they wont break your components, they got over voltage protection, undervoltage protection surge protecting and idk more from my head.

dont look at the rating, platinum powersupplies can suck, check this first list first before u buy a powersupply.
u dont want to know how many blow up weekly and people ask for help on this forum.

i dont know from which country u...

Do you think not switching out all those parts would be an issue? It is an obvious upgrade but it does add alot more cost, would it bottleneck with the other parts? which of only the graphics card is still original

Why is it so required? Some online tool said this was plenty, I know its an online tool and the reviews were good. If you could just explain why this one in particular isnt so good I can learn from it as well!

i dont know from which country u are but the seasoniuc s12ii 520w/620w is always a great choice, and not too expensive everywhere.

Thank you all for the response, the PSU you recommended was tier 3 on linus' forum while my old one was tier 4, and on here the one you told me about was tier 2 as well, I think for that reason I will switch the old one out, even gaining a little bit of money! Thank you again!

I would definitely switch to skylake and ddr4, none the less you planed out a pretty solid build. But. in a 1000 euro build a better gpu should have to fit. A 970 or a 390 maybe? Btw how urgent is this build ?

I am currently using a 5 year old laptop so it is pretty urgent since that doesnt even allow me to play csgo or other similar, usually easy to run, games. I have looked into a 970 and I could go with one but I'd have to give up on the SSD. And I thought that an ssd would give me more performance than a better GPU, an upgrade there would cost me at least 100€ extra and I have to buy a keyboard, a mouse and a monitor as well which I dont want to cut corners on either

When I'we built my own pc, I also had to give up the ssd. After a couple of months tho I finally was able to buy one. I think it worths the trade off for a 970.
