Hi I've been having trouble trying to get my Ethernet connection to work. It was working completely fine and then just was unable to identify. My wireless connection works totally fine which is how Im posting now. There are 2 other computers in the house that run on this network and have no problems in connection so its not the network. Ive tried going into the properties of all the connections trying many different solutions even reinstalling all the driver software. Can anyone tell me why my wired connection just wont work? I hve Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit and heres my ipconfig /all:

169 IP address means that your ethernet connection is unable to obtain an IP address from the router. Log into the router and review the DHCP scope, make sure there are enough IPs available.
Also you can try manually assigning a static IP address, just make sure its different from the other 2 computers.
