So, if I understand correctly, there will be no major flagship card from AMD based on Polaris. We will have to wait until Vega for that. The thing is, my 290X is already not performing to the level I would like, so I do not wish to wait until Vega. I would like to sell my 290X and purchase a Nano, seeing as how the latter is going for a reasonable price. After the sell of my 290X, I wouldn't have to fork out too much cash.
I know the Nano thermal throttles to keep itself cool. My question is, can I just set an aggressive fan profile to prevent this and maintain the 1000 MHz core clock rate? Or would I have to water cool it?
Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
