I have my new computer almost built, and I've already installed the CPU Fan. But just wanted to ask here to get some advice on what you guys think the best direction/side to put the fan on.

I'm using the fractal define r5 case, with a gigabyte z170x gaming 5 motherboard, an i7 6700k processor, a hyper eva 212 CPU cooler, and a gold evga 650 watt power supply.

Right now I've put the fan on the back side of the CPU cooler (right beside the fan for the back of the case). Thinking that it must be best because it would blow air right into the other fan and then right out of the case.

But now I'm starting to have second thoughts because I don't even know which direction the air is blowing in.. I can see the "Cooler Master" logo facing outwards towards the back of the case.

Any thoughts? :)

No, it's not best way. CPU cooler fan should be on other side (where RAM is) to blow air thru cooler fins and back case fan to blow out too. Use fan/s in the front of the case to supply air to the case. That way you'll have a proper air flow thru the case because there or other parts of MB that have to be cooled too, not only CPU. It would be nice to have HDD/s in the air flow too.
