What's a good pre-build?

I need a pre-build. But I don't know what's the best. My budget is $1,500. I can't build my own, my mom tells me that I need a warranty. I also want to be able to upgrade it to its maximum capability. Are there any good PC's? I've been looking at Alienware, but idk.

Prebuilt PC:s suck and you cannot build your own. My idea is that you let a shop like CyberpowerPC or NCIX build it for you. You get all the parts you want plus warranty, but you have to pay a small fee for them.

She does know that if you buy parts they come with warranties, right? And prebuilt computers always have crappy power supplies, which can decrease the lifespan of other components or raise the electricity bill.

Anyway, I'd avoid Alienware. They overcharge and put laptop parts into desktops often.

I completely agree with building the system from scratch, besides the part warranties and knowing your putting in quality parts just the experience itself can be very rewarding and a great learning curve. If you do have to get a prebuilt system then look into Digital Storm, they may not be the cheapest but you can at least see what parts your getting (except PSU which they brand as EVGA/Corsair without model numbers). The Vanquish 5 seems like a good build for the price (i7/DDR4/GTX 970).

If you could build if from scratch you could easily get a Skylake i5 and a GTX 980 ti as well as other quality/high performance parts which will easily outperform the Digital Storm build(s).

I'm looking for a pre-build to upgrade. Something to work with until I learn how to build them. I want a good start pre-build with a big case to avoid bottlenecking the thing.
