I am rebuilding my desktop with all new components. I'm ready to dismantle it and begin the build.
Question:
I am installing my Win7 onto a new SSD. I've heard I can use my old Seagate 500GB HDD as an internal holder for files, pics, music etc. If so, should I format the HDD before shutting everything down and do I have to make any special changes (names, codes, whatever) to the HDD to make it function properly for what I want to use it for?
