Hey guys,

I am building a computer for my friend... got everything installed correctly.. all gpu, cpu fans work.. case fans work, the dvd drive fires up and I can hear the hdd powering on. My only issue is that nothing displays to the montior, I cannot get it show the bios to configure the system to boot off the disc drive to install windows (also when plugging a USB keyboard in, I do not see the keyboard power up). Any ideas would be greatly helpful.. maybe I am missing something. The parts that I used are below (just an FYI the mobo does not have on board graphics):

- AMD FX-8320 3.50 GHz Processor
- ASRock ASRock Fatal1ty Gaming Fatal1ty 990FX Killer AM3+/AM3 AMD 990FX + AMD SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Gaming Motherboard
- GF GTX 960 - 4 GB GDDR5 - PCI Express 3.0 x16
eVGA 1000watt power supply
- PNY 8GB DDR3 RAM
- WD 1TB HDD
- Ultra Speed DVD R/W Drive

Solution
You have a problem of no display, remove the gpu card and clean it and insert it properly in the slots again, then remove the ram and clean it and insert it properly again in slots, use a pencil eraser to clean the ram and gpu card contact pin
