Things I have done to troubleshoot this issue.
-Checked cables.
-Ran memtest for 8 hours without problems.
-Reinstalled OS and drivers.
-Checked wires.
-Checked to see if hard drives were faulty.

I haven't updated the bios yet, but I have no clue if I'll need to or not.

I thought I had fixed the issue but apparently I hadn't.

I'm ready to rip my hair out because I have no clue what could be wrong with it.

Here are my specs:
Win7 Prof
AMD FX-8350 4.0Ghz processor
AMD R9 280X
MSI 970 Gaming Mobo
2X4GB RipJaws DDR3
Hitatchi 500GB HDD
C750W B80+ PSU.

I have only had 2 BSOD's I think related to this issue.

An image of the bsod I was able to capture is found here in this picture

Hi there theevilonezify,

You've done some extensive troubleshooting.
Just like you, I believe that this is a hardware issues as well.

Here are some other things you can try:
- Measure your system temps.
- Run some stress testing.
- You can troubleshoot your PSU as well. Unfortunately, the easiest way to do so is to just borrow one from somebody and try it on your system.
- It will not hurt to update your GPU drivers.

Does this happen with every game? Could you try running your system with only one ram stick at a time?

Cheers,

Your picture isn't there - did you run a SMART check on your HDD? If you've reinstalled the OS and passed MEMtest it's either the HDD or unfortunately one of the pricier components.

You can also check the event viewer - if you see a bunch of disk related errors it's almost certainly your HDD.

I've ran Crystaldisk and it said everything was good.
The event viewer didn't have anything related other than drivers but i've already updated my drivers and everything is okay.

I think it's a hardware related issue, I'm not too sure however.

If you can think of anything, any support would be great.

EDIT: I believe the image is there now for you to see.

Ok, I had this problem with particular games. skyrim and lego marvel superheroes. I was using an hdmi cable connected to a large flat screen television. By going into nvidia control panel and turning off audio through hdmi, to the tv (i was using optical to a receiver anyway) it seems to have solved the issue.
This occured on two seperate pc to flat screen tv's in my household and solved the issue. (I also changed the tv settings to game mode which also may have helped) but I suspect it was an audio through hdmi conflict for me.
