Computer Slower And Louder Since New Graphics Card?

My current specs:
-CPU: AMD 4300 Quad Core Processor, 3.8GHz
-Power Supply: 750W Thermaltake
-Operating system: Windows 10, 64 bit.
-Graphics Card: nVidia GeForce 960
-Mobo: M5A78L

Ever since I've installed this graphics card, it runs so much louder than my previous graphics card, the GeForce 640, doing basic tasks such as browsing Chrome. Nothing has changed, and I'm not a big program downloader, so no, I hardly have any programs up, and most the time my task manager says it's under 30% CPU usage, but I can hear my graphics card fan running hard and loud.

Also, my videos randomly freeze as a result of this. I have a suspicion as to what the problem may be, so if you can confirm if this is an issue, then this might be the problem. Unfortunately, the way this motherboard was built, the eSATA connectors are placed on the opposite end of the PCIe slots. This means that my graphic card fans are directly in front of this wire, and are very very close to this wire.

Solution

download the newest drivers and use the custom install option, then check the clean install box

I currently have two fans already in the computer as is. Do I need a third?

Also: I cleaned the case when I changed it out, as well as all the other fans, as well as the CPU fan. Everything dusty is gone from the computer case.

You need to make sure they are working and the heat isn't building up in there. Try running the computer without the side panel and see if it works fine.

Also, make sure all your old drivers were properly uninstalled and reinstall the drivers

I'd also like to add that the fans to the graphic card is unfortunately facing the end of the case on top of facing the one wire at the one fan. It is probably only a couple inches away from the case. Could that be an issue?

This sounds like a likely cause, as I did use Express Install. Is there a fix for this? I don't use Beta drivers, but it's possible the old software conflicted with the new.

If you think you may have this driver, simply uninstall it and then download and install the recommended driver....NVidia no longer offer the faulty driver.
