Hello:
Hi there,

I recently installed an EVGA Hybrid Cooler for my 980 Ti. When I turn on the computer, there is a red light for a brief moment on the motherboard and the CPU fan spins for a sec but then stops. The CPU fan is a Corsair H80. I am able to use the computer at the moment but the CPU fan is not working. Everything else is fine.

There was no issue before I installed the EVGA Hybrid cooler, so I am thinking that my power supply might be dying.

Computer parts:

Motherboard: Sabertooth Z77.
CPU: i7 3770K @ 3.5 w/ Corsair H80
RAM: 32GB
PSU: Antec Earthwatts 750W
GPU: 980 Ti w/ aftermarket EVGA Hybrid Cooler
Storage: SSD x1 and HD x2.

Please help, and thanks for taking your time to read if you stumble across this.

I would not run that pc till the fan problem is rectified
Are you sure you connected the wires properly? To use a cosair H80, make sure you have connected the 4 pin power cable directly to the PSU, and the 2 fans connected to the centre console (where the profiles light up) Then theres another wire which comes out from the center console which plugs in to the mother board. could also try disabling the mobo cpu fan management and reset firmware to the h80
