So I am thinking of swapping in my new CPU and mobo into my current rig. Does it make sense for me to just install the basic intel cpu cooler and then take that off and put on an aftermarket one later or just wait to upgrade that cooler and then swap the new hardware in?

well it is easier to just get the cooler you want and install it all once when new , but that's a judgment call you have to make one what works best for you ?
I prefer to try to do thing right once the first time not go back and deal with things later [but still sometimes that cant be helped ]
you hat to have things working great just to have to go back and tare in to it and something more goes wrong or a butterfinger moment wile doing so
