Hello.

I'm having a problem with my internet connection consistently going out multiple times daily. The error message in the title is always the error message I get.

Here are my specs requested in the "how to ask for help" Sticky.

- Arris DG860A is the modem/router(built in)
- Currently 2 devices connected to the network, 1 desktop 1 phone.
- Not sure on the NAS or regular server question.
- Wifi router is built in to the modem
- I'm using the internal ethernet driver

I have tried:
- unplugging/resetting the modem. The internet comes back after a few minutes, but goes out and has to be reset all the time.
- disabling the wireless function of the modem, so that only my desktop is connected.
- new cords, from ethernet to power supply to coax running to modem.
- following the steps I found here in other threads and on microsoft's help forums, following all of the CMD strings suggested such as /flushdns, /registerdns, /all

When I enter the ipconfig /all command, everything except the Ethernet adapter Ethernet is listed as Media Disconncted. This is the case even when the internet is working fine (and also when it is out).

When it goes out, it is out for all devices on my network, both wired and wireless.

I don't have anything like Mcaffe as I saw in the other threads on the subject that it could cause this issue. I do have antimalware , but didn't see anything mentioned here about that causing problems.

Please let me know, what should I do? Thank you!

Yeah I'm not sure if it's safe to post that stuff lmao. I checked every other thread on this topic and didn't see anyone post their ipconfig logs. Not trying to be difficult I'm just ignorant on the subject.

To add on to the initial post: when my connection goes out, nothing changes on the modem. Same lights lit up/blinking. Time Warner has confirmed that they are unable to send a signal to the modem when I experience these outages.

When I check the modem event log after my connection goes out, this is the error I see:
Received Response to Broadcast Maintenance Request, But no Unicast Maintenance opportunities received - T4 time out
