Hello. I am trying to get my graphics card working but it does not do so. It works flawlessly without it but i have tried at least 5 different drivers, all with the same result. My specs are (I know it is old but i want to do some classic gaming):
Winfast A400 GT (Nvidia 6800 GT)
1 GB Ram
AMD Athalon 64 processor
I don't really know my motherboard unfortunately but i will keep you updated :)
Thank you in advance for helping me :D:D:D:D:D:D

You're going to need an old driver for that card. I would start with the newest driver that claims support and move backward until either you find one that actually works, or you give up. Conversely, are you sure the card is any good? That card is certainly old enough to be having micro cracks in the solder joints beneath the chips, which could easily result in graphical anomalies and artifacting as you mention. The bad behavior likely won't show until an official NVIDIA driver is installed, as often the card is underutilized by Microsoft's default driver and the problem components, or parts of them, are less likely to be needed.

Also, make sure the 6-pin PCI-e power connection is firmly installed on the card and that the fan is clear...

Thank you. I will try this :D Sorry for getting back to you a bit late but i will try this and update you as soon as possible. Also, the card may likely be damaged as it was sitting in the cupboard for years and the card is around 10-12 years old possibly.
