Which top video cards and memory cards is compatible with my current pc?

I am trying to upgrade my pc that I bought a few years ago so it can play upcoming games like Star Citizen on max settings but I dont know which video card or memory cards is compatible with my computer. Can someone help please?

Here are my current pc specs:
8 gb DDR3 Memory 533mhz
ATI Radeon 5750 1 gb video card
AMD Phenom II X6 1035T Processor 2.6 Ghz
Motherboard Gateway DX4320

With your CPU, you already have 8 GB at 1066, the CPU might be able to run 1333 which wouldn't be much of an increase. I'd look to a GPU upgrade if going for something, though though your CPU may well bottleneck most GPUs that are current.
