Hi,

So a week ago i bought a new CPU(i7 5820k) and i think that are better ones out there including the i7 6700k and the i7 4790k.My question is :should i stay with the 5820k or should i upgrade it to the i7 6700k or the i7 4790k?

PS: Im building a gaming pc with the mind set to last 3-4 years and capable of running the new games.

Solution
You've built the computer and you're already looking for a different processor? Or are you yet to build the computer and buy an X99 motherboard? Either way, you've already got it. Not worth the hassle to return it for the i7-6700k.

This is what happened :
I had bough a new pc in a store 2 years ago,The thing is that i noticed that the gpu that came with it was terrbile and so i upgrade it to a gtx 980.A few months later i noticed fps drops on big areas on games like fallout 4,rise of the tomb raider, black ops 3 and so i chose to buy a new cpu because i thought that the problem lied in that. The thing is after upgrading to the 5820k i went back to fallout 4 and black ops 3 and i notecied that on fallout 4 the fps drops would occur , and in black ops 3 it would only happen on cutsenes while playing the campaign,Then i tried to play an old game like hitman absolution on ultra and on areas with a lot of lighning my fps would drop from 200 to 41.
That is why im asking this questions because i thouth that this cpu might not be 100% suitable for gaming.
(Sorry for my awful english).

PS: My old pc specs:

i7 4770S
MIS GTX 980
16GB RAM
Board: ASUSTek Computer INC.M11AD

My new pc specs:
i7 5820k
MSI gtx 980
16gb RAM
Board: X99A SLI Krait Edition (MS-7885) 4.0

I see no problem in your hardware.
What resolution you are running your games? Also if you try high AA in high resolution the performance can also drop.
Slight stutters can happen and will happen. Keep that in mind. Your games won't be butter smooth 100% of the time. See the reviews, that's why we have frame time variance to see stuttering.
