So I recently got my build together after a lot of trouble(first motherboard didn't recognzie second 980 ti for SLI configuration). Now that I've setup up everything down to the drivers, the computer shuts off randomly. I don't even pull up any intesne games, I'm literally using a web browser and it shuts off, and turns itsself back on after like 3 seconds.I have the following setup:

CPU
Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

CPU Cooler
Corsair H100i GTX 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler

Motherboard
Asus SABERTOOTH Z97 MARK1 ATX LGA1150 Motherboard

Memory
G.Skill Trident X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory

Storage
Samsung 850 EVO-Series 250GB 2.5" Solid State Drive

Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive

Video Card

MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)

MSI GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB Video Card (2-Way SLI)

Case

NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case

SeaSonic X Series 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply

My question, is how likely is it that this is a power supply issue? Before I was able to setup the SLI configuration, the computer never shut down on me once, when it had just the one graphic card installed.

So first, I took just one out and ran a benchmark test on GTA5. It shut down BOTH times with BOTH cards. But if the problem is with the power supply, surely taking out 500w of units out of the case and running it on integrated graphics can't prove its the power supply.

UPDATE: It's running on integrated graphics, and i put it through a stress test with the Kombustor app, and it shut down, so the graphic cards are not the problem, and I pulled up the Corsair Link and cranked up the fans on the cpu cooler. At MAX, the cpu was 30C' , so I doubt it's the processor.

The seller of the motherboard himself made it a priority to send out the board with the latest BIOS version, I can confirm it is.
perhaps 100 w of wiggle room before the PSU hits it's max is not enough.

I suppose it is possible i might have confused the power cables for the monitor and the PSU. I'll give it a try
