I have an older computer with a graphics card that I know needs to go. The question is whether I should ditch just the graphics card or replace the entire computer.

Specs:
i5 750 (2.67 GHZ)
GeForce GTX 560 Ti (8 MB RAM)
12 gigs of RAM

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

If the rest of the computer has enough power for you then just the GPU, think I'd go a new build, parts for these are scarse (i.e. mobos, DRAM, etc)

It honestly depends on what games you want to run, that i5 750 is going to bottleneck nearly all newer titles with a graphics card better than the 560ti. I'd say stick with what you've got until you can upgrade everything.

If you can do some overclocking, then you could absolutely get a better graphics card. The i5 750 when running at 3.8-4Ghz is actually not bad. With a good overclock and something like a 960/380 you could prob hold off upgrading the rest for a little longer.
