Guys I am trying to find out if this memory will work with an AS Rock Motherboard I have been told two stories now yes and no. I have went to the motherboards website and checked the only memory listed there is a 1 gb module nowhere near the size I have
I have Patriot PXD38G1600LLK Viper Xtreme Performance Desktop Memory Kit - 32GB (4 x 8GB) PC3-12800, DDR3-1600MHz, 8-9-8-24 CAS L.

now the setup I am working on is
AS Rock 990FX Fatality Killer Motherboard
AMD FX-8350 Processor
Sapphire R9-380X Nitro GPU
powering this will be my Ultra X4 850 Watt Modular Power Supply

Guys Please Verify this for me or let me know if i have to pick up different Memory.

Memory Controller Voltage ??????????? I am a newbie here when it comes to modifying these computer systems. In all the builds I have done I have just went with off the shelf parts and they worked I have never played with any of the I guess manuvarables involved in Over Clocking or tweaking the System.

also when overclocking or Tweaking are all the components affected or only a few

The DRAM should work, as said may take a tweak or two, would consist of going into the BIOS and raising the DRAM oltage and maybe the CPU/NB voltage (it feeds the MC (memory controller), if needed can probably talk you through it or if you have tach friend that could be around to help

No tech friend close so if needed you would have to talk me through it if it comes to it. I do not have the parts yet. I am working on a budget to get the parts and collect them to put this togther so it might be a bit before i am ready to do this
