steam download problem

i recently bought cs go from steam and started downloading it online. After completing the entire download of 6.6 gb it gave me an error stating not enough disk space is available although i had 2 gb free space on my hardisk and the download paused . When i restarted the download after clearing some space , it started downloading from the beginning and now it was 6.7 gb.Please help me to troubleshoot the problem.Note that its my first paid game from steam and i am not famalier to the ways.

You should be fine, clear space, let it download and install and your good to go. Make sure you have the amount of space it requires before downloading games.

i already had the necessary amount of space the first time i downloaded it . Still it gave me the error.
Also why did the downlpad size increased from 6.6 to 6.7 gb ?

Not sure its not that big of a difference i wouldnt worry too much. Is it downloading fine now?

my version of cs go is 14 gb lol

i deleted the local content and downloading the game all over again .
