Is it safe to use a jumped power supply to power a GPU?

I am looking to use a jumped power supply to power up a GPU inside my system.
Is this going to damage anything?
This isn't permanent just a quick benchmark. I need to do this for reasons.

Thanks for your attention!

(Asking this because I know it can be used to test stuff like optical drives, but I am not sure if it's gonna work for an actual GPU inside another system powered by a different PSU)

Solution
Yay, it will work fine since u push both power on button and turn up the psu "at the same time". Used to have two PSU's in my old pc, worked fine for 2 years. Then exploded.

Just kiddin', I bought a XFX XTR 550.
Go ahead, gd luck.

Ah, I'm fully aware of that, I am just not familiar about the function of all the other pins that aren't connected to the motherboard.
I just assumed that some of them, maybe were supposed to regulate some voltages that the PSU outputs.

Either way, I did it, nothing fried, so that's okay I suppose.
Issue though, the PSU wasn't outputting power, fan was spinning though. Now, I know why this happened, and it's because the PSU was kind of faulty, randomly deciding to output power or not. Was kinda hoping it would decide to output this time.

Anyway, I'll mark the first reply as the solution, thanks for the help everyone.

If the psu you're using is having intermittent issues I would certainly stop using it. No telling what else is wrong with it and could potentially harm any components connected to it. It sounds like you'd be better off just replacing the two psu's you're using and use one known good psu with the proper wattage and connectors to power everything. Then jumping it wouldn't even be an issue. Just my .02 worth.

I am in the process of replacing the PSU, and with the increasing realisation of how bad of an idea it was to use a faulty power supply for that, I decided to stop after two attempts.
