So I just setup my new second GTX 980 (I got a great deal on a used one for $360. Still sticking with 1080p 144hz, don't judge my FPS fetish). I noticed the bottom GPU now runs cooler then it ever did before as a single GPU. Idle temps are 24/32. The single GPU never went below 27c idle. I am just wondering why it would get cooler with having 2 gpus? The fan profile is the same.
