Hello,

I bought a GTX 670 for my friend - me and my friends are building him a PC as a birthday gift. We got all parts, put it all together, installed Windows and when I started installing nvidia drivers, something weird started to happen:
the fan after another reset started going full speed all the time, despite the fact that I set up a 1080p resolution the screen showed only about 70% of the image (big black bar around the visible area) and after reseating the GPU the PC started to reset on it's own as soon as Asus logo pops up.

Can anyone help me? My friend's birthday is tomorrow and I want to solve this asap.

PC's specs are as follows:
Intel Core i5-750
GTX 670
Asus P7P55-m
2x4GB DDR3 Geil RAM
Cooler Master GX550W series PSU
2TB Hitachi HDD

I used the newest ones and then switched to 390 or something like that. It's hard for me to tell now since it's resetting itself...

Try using driver 362.00 and see if you still have problems because if you google NVIDIA display driver is repeatedly restarting Windows you'll see it could be a driver problem mine was but go into safe mode to stop the restarting and uninstall the GPU drivers

The thing is, the PC restarts on startup - it doesn't even go into windows...
