I want to upgrade my rig
will this work?

My rig now is:

Case: Corsair graphite series 650t
PSU: Corsair CS750M (Gold rated)
MOBO: Asus Formula-Z Crosshair V
CPU: AMD FX 8120 @ 3.0ghz
CPU Cooler: Cryorig H5 Universal
RAM: 16GB Kingston 1600mhz
GPU: Nvidia Gtx 970 4GB MSI GAMING EDITION
SSD 512gb Samsung Evo + Seagate baracuda 2TB
Aditional stuff: wifi card/sound card
Fans: 6 + 2 on cpu

What do i want to upgrade in my system:

CPU: fx-8120 to fx 9590 (becuse fx9590 costs only 200$)
CPU Cooler: Cryorig h5 Universal to Corsair h110i (Becuse it would save me some space)
RAM: 16gb kingston 1600mhz to Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 16GB DDR3 @2400Mhz
GPU: Nvidia Gtx 970 to Asus Strix-GTX980TI?-DC3OC-6GD5 Nvidia GeForce

Will my PSU last? i am using now like 500w with my current rig
and could fx 9590 run ram on 2400mhz?

I want to upgrade my 8120 to 9590 becuse
the 8120/8370 cost about 175$ meanwhile 9590 costs 200$ and it could run stable 4,7ghz
without playing around

Solution
That's not necessary to upgrade RAM from 1600mhzto 2400mhz
for cpu cooler, make sure h110i can fit your case
GPU, I'd suggest to wait til new generation is out

I'm not entirely sure that even the $300 in CPU and cooler is going to be a good value for the game performance increase you might expect.

If you're already selling the 970 to help fund the 980ti (which I'd at the very least recommend you try first to see if it accomplishes what you want), it may be worth it to just sell the AMD board and CPU too, to get something else as well. You'd at least be able to get $150-175 for that used combo, and for $460 you'd get a heck of a lot more gaming performance here:

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

CPU: Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($321.98 @ Newegg)
Motherboard: Asus Z97-A ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($139.99 @ SuperBiiz)
Total: $461.97
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

The 9590 is a waste of money. You aren't going to get the performance you think, it generates a LOT of heat. And unfortunately almost everyone I've read about on here running anything less than a 1000w PSU has problems as that thing draws like hell (beyond its 220w tdp). Especially with a 980ti (or other high end GPU). If you want to keep your motherboard, get an 8350 or 8370 and overclock it. Otherwise, dump it and buy an Intel setup like geekwas suggested.

And this is coming from an AMD guy!

Just readed that fx 9590 needs a whole 220W!!!!
which is just crazy, now i will sell my mobo and cpu for 190 euros on ebay
and pay 700$ more and get a i7 6700k with a maximus viii extreme
