I am looking at updating my video card on my computer. I have a AMD Raedon 7870 currently in my computer and am thinking of getting a GTX 970. I am wondering if the new video card will work on my older motherboard (bought in 2013). I have read on different websites that I would have to update my bios and others say that I would just be able to install it without updating. Also would my processor bottleneck the new gpu.
