Video Card in question is a Gigabyte GTX 960 card with 4GB of DDR5 RAM.

Hey Y'all,

I recently built a computer from the ground up, running two old Radeon HD 6770 cards in Crossfire.

Today, I decided to upgrade to an Gigabyte NVIDIA GTX 960 (4GB).

Once I installed the new card, the computer would not start or post. Just a fan twitch. If I pull out the new card and reinstall one of the old ones, the system runs again.

Cannot see this as being a driver issue. The computer does not get far enough though booting. Nonetheless, all the old Radeon drivers are expunged using AMD's Driver Uninstall Utility.
Don't believe the brand new card could be dead right out of the box. But almost all the components in the build are new.

New card has been reseated in both rails and connected with both of the six-pin connectors. Makes no difference. NADA.

Thoughts?

Thanks for reading, folks....

Power supply is first suspect that brand is tough to find info on, which can mean it's a junk brand or just simply very localized to an area of the world.

Test with a different power supply first, maybe in another system if you know someone with a gaming rig.
