Dual Monitor setup gets grey and black screen randomly (GTX 970)

I installed a gtx 970 about 2 weeks ago on a dual monitor setup and have been getting my main monitor get a grey screen with the secondary monitor getting a black screen. At first this only happened to me while I was watching Netflix so one could only assume it was an issue on their part. As well as I considered the thought of a dying hard drive but my PC really isn't old at all. Well I was just playing a casual League of Legends game and I got the same thing. But after my computer booted back up, my PC is only detecting my secondary monitor. So right now I'm thinking that maybe its a defected card/slots. I would really love some help with this :) P.S. Yes all drivers are up to date.

i7 quad core hyper threaded(3.2GHz)
12GB ram
64 bit
GTX 970

Try this, open cmd.exe as administrator, type the command sfc /scannow, if it is not a corrupted windows file try to use ddu to Uninstal video driver then go with the old driver 326.00 or 362.00 can't remember off hand. Some of the Nvidia drivers recently have been causing grey screens
