Hi all.
Firstly can I just say thanks for any advice on this as I'm at a bit of a crossroad.
I recently bought a PC that unfortunately has had to go back due to it keep closing the screens down in mid game.
So I have been doing some research and I'm now not sure I bought the right one.
The specs are
Zoostorm tempest
Intel core I5-4460 3.2ghz
Chipset Intel H81
8GB DDR3 1600mhz ram
1TB sata HDD
Nvidia GTX960 2GB
DVDrw
Windows 10
500 watt PSU FSP500-60HHN (I should say on the web it states it comes with a 350w PSU but I checked and it says 500w on the one supplied)
The fans are Cougar QH12025 SE 12m
Motherboard is a Gigabyte GA H81M S2V
Memory is Sata WD10 EZEX (blue) also Crucial CT102464BA 160B
All in a cougar spike case.
The game I bought it for is Farm simulator 15. With Farm simulator 17 coming out soon.
I used 3 27" acer monitors plugged in via HDMI from the screen to an adapter for display port.
A keyboard, a mouse, 2x T16000m joysticks, a G13 game pad and a sound bar that just plugged into the jack port.
With only having this PC for about a month and it having to go back I started to do the usual thing and research after I bought it. Now I'm wondering if it was a good buy.
Does anybody know from the specs above if I'm underpowered for the game(s) and all the extras that are plugged in?
Can anyone recommend if something needs changing to make it run better or would that just be a waste of money on a PC that isn't future proof?
I have thought about doing a build myself and would do it apart from I keep thinking are there any parts in the one I have that I should keep or just start a fresh.
I have upto £1000 for a build but would this just be a waste of money for the games I play.
Any help would be appreciated
Regards.
